Marshall were married at 11 a.m. on June 16, 2005 at King David No.2 Church. Rev. Johnny L. Williams officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Willie Mae Phillips of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Janie Mae Williams and William Robertson of Vicksburg. The groom is the son of Henry J. Marshall and the late Easter Marshall of Port Gibson. He is a grandson of the late Olivia Hedrick and the late Richard Hedrick of port Gibson. The church was decorated in shades of coral, peach, and ivory. "Flying without Wings" by Ruben Stoddard was presented for the ceremony. Given in marriage by her grandfather, the bride wore a coral grown adorned at the side with sequined, floral embroidery. The dress faded gradually into a peach-colored, flared skirt with a fishtail hem. Shed carried a round bouquet of coral, peach, and ivory flowers interspersed with greenery. Bridesmaid was Joyce Scott of Vicksburg. She wore a coral gown trimmed in a light-coral, floral print. She carried a kissing ball of coral and ivory flowers.
